Dora’s Hair Fashion is a group of about 24 hairstylists and we have a personnel association with which we do some nice and cozy workshops, dining out or daytrips every year. This spring we booked two ceramics workshops at Lies van Huet’s in De Blokhuispoort Leeuwarden. We were picked up in two groups outside the gate of the former prison and escorted inside, in itself a very special experience …. it still remains the former jail!! In the studio, we were welcomed and the program of that evening was explained, all in a very relaxed way. We went to work and any room filled with 12 hairstylists, will always be a cackling lot, very cozy!! Lies taught us various ways and tricks how to work with clay and we all made two pieces of clay, each created from your own fantasy and input, really great fun . Meanwhile catching up with colleagues from different branch offices with a cup of coffee and some cookies. In the weeks following the workshop, the produced works of clay were ​​dried and fired in the kiln. Some 3 weeks later, we picked them all up and distributed them among colleagues Again it was party time, to see how your work has come out of the kiln …. Now we all have a dish and touchstone ball in our living room created by ourselves and look back on two lovely evenings . Highly recommended for every club, association or group of (girl)friends!!
