Ventilator – Fenduc – Marrakech – Fries Museum

Net gearriveerd uit Marrakech in het Fries Museum, de ventilator. De Fryske Motor krijgt steeds meer vorm. Wat is hij mooi geworden. Op de door mij gemaakte ventilator van keramiek, heeft Youssef de bladen beschilderd met de traditionele Marokkaanse Zouac schilderkunst. Moustafa bracht op de door mij geglazuurde bladen en het wiel, messing en koper aan. Om zo de delen aan elkaar te bevestigen, tegelijk een prachtige decoratie. De voorkant die nu onderligt, is binnenkort ook te zien in het Fries Museum. De expositie duurt nog tot 5 januari 2020.

Just arrived from Marrakech in the Fries Museum, the fan. The Fryske Motor gets more and more shape. How beautiful it has become. On the ceramic fan I made, Youssef painted the blades in the traditional Moroccan Zouac pictorial art. Moustafa applied brass and copper to the blades and the wheel I had glazed. In this way the parts could be joined together, which is a wonderful adornment. The front, now facing down, will be visible shortly in the Fries Museum. The exhibition lasts until January 5, 2020.
